Hiding away dreaming out in the tall tall grass
Dappled sun willows sway as the clouds drift past
Birds overheard remark that we’re out of place
Material thoughts subside and slip away
Sensation returns humming long-forgotten tunes
Summer thoughts of childhood easy days of moving through
I’d climb higher and laugh talking to the trees
Following leaves they cast out onto the breeze
Haven’t we seen the road’s not straight as we walk along
Be with me here before this moment’s gone
Haven’t we wondered haven’t we always known
How to be so wild and free…how to find our way back home
Whispering secrets that conjure like a charm
Dreaming about a future where we’re all safe from harm
Hold my hand and let your body feel the sun
Nowhere to be because eternity’s never done
Lay down here with me out in the tall tall grass
What do you see in the shapes floating past
An angel reclined, or maybe a smiley face
Let’s let our imaginations run away
